B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent


The Role

We are currently recruiting for a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a well-established line maintenance operation based in Aberdeen. This is a permanent opportunity within a highly reputable aviation organisation operating a varied offshore helicopter fleet.

The successful candidate will join a close-knit engineering team, working in a safety-focused environment with strong leadership, excellent long-term stability, and genuine opportunities for career progression.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and certify aircraft maintenance activities including:

    • Scheduled maintenance inspections

    • MODs and defect rectification

  • Maintain high standards of airworthiness and regulatory compliance

  • Issue certifications within the scope of authorisation

  • Identify, report, and escalate any incidents or quality concerns relating to:

    • Aircraft

    • Tools and equipment

    • Materials and facilities

  • Contribute to a strong safety culture and high-quality engineering standards


Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • UK CAA B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence

    • (Candidates holding an A Licence may also be considered)

  • Relevant rotary-wing aircraft maintenance experience

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
